Crop am Rhein Mini Album, Part 24:00 PM
I started to share part one of my Bolivia mini album last month, which made with supplies from Studio Calico Office Hours scrapbook kit. Time to show you the remaining pages, eh? Here you go! The next "chapter" in the mini is a trip to the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat on earth. Such a spectacular place!
The watercolor die-cuts were a sure favorite in the Office Hours kit for me. I used it here for an ombre effect to create my page title.
… and then there are Los Yungas, most famous for the crazy, dangerous road leading there from La Paz! Being there in the warmer climate felt like a mini vacation within the vacation.
I wasn't sure about the flower sequins in the kit at first, then it all just fell together when I saw a photo from a village in the jungle with tall, red blooming trees all around. I threaded them on a piece of hemp twine and stapled that on my page.
The last page in my book is a glassine bag which I embellished with a rub-on. It will hold extra photos and ticket stubs and so on.
This is a photo of back cover. I used raw chipboard and covered it with patterned paper. That way the mini has a sturdier base than what just a piece of cardstock can provide. I'm going to show you soon how you can make this yourself. It's really easy and gives a polished look to any mini.
