Studio Calico Creative Team Blog Hop

3:00 PM

Welcome to our Studio Calico Creative Team blog hop! SC has a new promo out to start a new kit subscription beginning with March kit Office Hours. The fun thing about this new offer is that on top of all subscriber perks, you get a free gift card to the shop if you sub now. Here's how it works:

1. Click on one of the following links to add both, the desired subscription and offered gift card to your shopping cart in a single step:

2. Important: Apply the corresponding promo code before checking out to grant that the gift card in your shopping cart is free to you!
  • promo code for a new Scrapbook Kit subscription: SBGIFT
  • promo code for a new Card Kit subscription: CARDGIFT
  • promo code for a new Project Life Kit subscription: PLGIFT
Please not that the codes will expire on March 26 at 11:59 pm EST. Fine Print: Studio Calico will not issue refunds for mis-used or non-entered codes. The offer is not valid for previous purchases and it is only valid while supplies last.

3. Now that you've joined our little community and happy mail is on its way... plan out what you will be getting with your gift card! Need some advice? I have some for you!
What I would shop at the @studio_calico shop for a free $20 gift card by @pixnglue

  • Medium White Shipping Tags: A staple in my book! It's a great size to add a bigger sentiment to or to create focal points for cards. I ran out of these and hand-cut some - granted a double set is already in my cart!
  • Color Theory Ink Pad in Coral Bay: Presuming I wouldn't already have this ink pad, I'd be wanting to get it this month! I've been using this today and it coordinates so well with Office Hours and the upcoming Bluegrass Farm kits. Here's a sneaky peek of Bluegrass Farm add-on Clarabelle with Coral Bay ink:

  • Craft Die: Cross-Stitched Heart: Can you see I'm looking forward to the Stitched Class in the SC classroom next month? Poking holes is mostly what holds me back from handstitch more often, so this little die is perfect and reasonably priced. Imagine cross-stitched hearts for wedding cards
  • Martha Stewart Chalkboard Paint: Totally one of the items I'd be curious to use but wouldn't usually get. But with a free gift card…? Why not try something new!
It's a great mix of consumables and non-consumables, staples and also special items that I would probably skip if it were not for a free-to-me gift. Depending on which gift card value you get, you could easily leave one of the items out since they are all in roughly the same price range - or you can splurge a little on yourself =)

Enough of my rambling you say? Okay, okay... let's see what the other girls would pick!
